The Craftsmanship

There's something quietly powerful about an indigo saree — and this Indigo Cotton Mulmul Saree makes that statement effortlessly. Handblock printed by skilled artisans using the traditional technique, every piece carries the soul of Rajasthani craftsmanship.

  • Ultra-soft cotton mulmul fabric — weightless and breathable, feels like a second skin all day long
  • Authentic handblock print — each piece is individually hand-printed with subtle, artistic variations that make it one-of-a-kind
  • Easy-drape 5.5-metre length — fluid silhouette, polished look in minutes
  • Classic indigo with intricate block detailing — versatile enough for festive celebrations, office wear, or sophisticated evenings
  • Breathable, lightweight weave — stays comfortable even in humid weather

VOICES OF TRADITION

A Breathable Masterpiece

I wore the Sea Green Saree to a summer wedding in Chennai. While others were struggling in heavy silks, I felt cool and elegant. The golden border is so subtle yet expensive-looking.

- Kavya Nair

True Artisanship

You can see the slight variations in the block prints which proves it is handmade. It is not a machine print. Tattvam really delivers on their promise of authenticity.

- Priya Sharma

Beautiful Drape

The cotton-silk blend has the perfect amount of stiffness to hold pleats but enough silk to feel soft against the skin. My mother, a saree expert, was very impressed.

- Meera Iyer

Perfect Office Wear

The small butti pattern is professional yet ethnic. I wore it for a high-stakes meeting in Mumbai and felt so confident. Truly a versatile investment.

Heritage & Care FAQ

Everything you need to know about your Tattvam investment.

Is this a pure Kota Doriya saree?

Yes, we use a premium blend of pure cotton and silk. Unlike market alternatives, we never use polyester or synthetic 'look-alike' fibers. This ensures maximum breathability and a soft skin feel.

Will the Sea Green color bleed?

We use natural and high-quality dyes. However, as with all artisanal hand-dyed products, a tiny amount of excess dye may wash off during the first professional dry clean. This is normal and will not affect the vibrancy of the saree.

Does the saree include a blouse piece?

Yes, each 6.5-meter saree includes an unstitched blouse piece in a matching or contrast handblock print to complete your ensemble.

How do I identify a real handblock print?

Look for the 'soul' of the print - tiny inconsistencies in the spacing of the butti or the depth of the color are marks of the human hand and confirm that it was not printed by a machine.
